How I can help you.

My aim is to help you to discover and develop the skills, tools and techniques which will enable you to bring about the positive change you wish to see. Working together, in a confidential and nurturing manner, you will explore what is currently keeping you ’stuck’ and discover how you might start to do things differently. You will develop an awareness of what is maintaining your problem and understand the close correlation between your thoughts, feelings and behaviour. You can then begin to gently explore how to make the changes in how you think and behave which will allow you to find ways to better serve your needs.

From surviving to thriving.
As you gain in self-understanding and motivation, you will find yourself becoming increasingly more at ease, more flexible in your thinking and behaviours and more able to notice and respond to the possibilities and opportunities around you. The skills you learn are then with you for life, to help you in other challenging situations. In essence, you learn to become your own therapist.

My Approach

I use a holistic therapeutic integration of Evidence-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Hypnotherapy and Mindfulness (Hypno-CBT®).
​
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Hypnotherapy are both very effective therapeutic approaches for a range of issues. However, research shows that when they are combined, they provide an even more powerful means of bringing about change.
​
Hypno-CBT® is approved by the British Psychological Society.
I work alongside you in a collaborative manner, centred around your needs, at your pace and in alignment with your own personal values, and goals. You will find an environment of warmth, compassion and empathy; a safe place of trust, where you will feel heard and understood without judgement. A place where you can also enjoy the process of change as you move forward.
