Lack of confidence can hold you back
Sometimes lack of confidence can show itself in one particular area of our lives, sometimes it can underlie everything, and we constantly feel as if we are being held back from engaging in the things we would really like to do.
How can you change this and increase confidence?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy integrated with Hypnotherapy and Mindfulness (Hypno- CBT), is very effective at helping to boost confidence. This can be in your general self- belief, confidence at work, confidence in a specific area such as public speaking or confidence in social situations. Lack of confidence in social situations is very common and can impact greatly upon your life. People often believe that others are judging them negatively and this belief can lead to anxiety. This can then cause unwanted behaviour such as blushing, sweating or ‘clamming up’ and not knowing what to say.

Regardless of how lack of confidence manifests itself in your life, Hypno- CBT can provide effective ways to boost your confidence. Through CBT techniques, we can work together to help you explore and understand the underlying beliefs, fears and behaviours which are holding you back and replace them with new beliefs and behaviours which better serve your needs. Through Hypnotherapy, you then have the opportunity to totally focus your mind on the changes you wish to bring about. You have the chance to ‘rehearse’ these new ways of thinking and behaving within your imagination. You are then prepared for implementing changes in your life. You are freed up to achieve your goals. Not only do you yourself benefit, so do others around you- as you have the confidence to be yourself and to share your own unique gifts and talents with others.

My goal is to work alongside you to develop the therapeutic intervention plan that works best for you and your lifestyle. You will develop the tools to help yourself and therefore not become tied into long-term therapy. The approach is evidence based on latest scientific evidence showing that CBT, combined with Hypnotherapy is proven to be quicker and far more effective than CBT alone.
